I stumbled across Zaatar one morning whilst visiting Bristol and I am so glad I did, I had the shakshuka which was amazing. It was so well seasoned, so comforting and perfectly done, as a Persian girl it is so lovely having food which tastes like home! My boyfriend had the Irish breakfast which was also so delicious, he was very impressed. We would definitely recommend!

Came here earlier this afternoon and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was very cosy; the lighting was warm and the decor was very tasteful. The waitress was extremely welcoming and friendly and took my order as soon as I sat down. My drink was served very rapidly and although I didn't order any food, I heard good compliments from other tables and it looked amazing. Overall, really great experience, this is a must-visit location in Bristol and I will definitely be coming back!

Downstairs toilet a bit unsavoury. No lights in the gents, so I had to use the women's (I'm male) and there was no lock on the door there. Could have been awkward, but as me and the missus were the only customers at 11.45 a.m., not an issue. I had the fish curry, she had the lamb lunch. Fish was a bit sweet and heavy on the tamarind, but quite edible. Lamb lunch was delicious, no food poisoning or similar. I would go again for sure. Service very pleasant.
